Watches & Wonders Geneva 2024 welcomes a diverse array of first-time exhibitors, each bringing its unique blend of innovation, heritage, and craftsmanship to the prestigious event. Bremont, known for its aviation-inspired timepieces, joins the lineup with the announcement of its new collection, Terra Nova, an adventure-inspired collection along with brand ambassador Jimmy Chin.

Norqain expands its Freedom 60 and Wild ONE collections, embodying a spirit of adventure and multi-generational exploration; Nomos Glashütte, renowned for its minimalist designs and precision movements, presents a colorful twist on its iconic Tangente, adding vibrancy to the traditional watchmaking scene; Raymond Weil unveils its Millesime collection, celebrating heritage and creativity through a range of neo-vintage chronographs and moon phase watches and lastly, Eberhard & Co. introduces its updated Extra-fort collection, blending classic elegance with modern sophistication, marking its debut at the esteemed event.

Together, these first-time exhibitors promise a captivating display of horological mastery and innovation at Watches & Wonders Geneva 2024.

Embracing the power of color, Nomos introduces a spectrum of emotions and moods with names like Ariel, Zirkus, Haifischgrau, and Schlossgrün. This departure from tradition injects personality and joy into the world of haute horlogerie, offering a perfect match for every individual’s style and character.

Despite the bold transformation, Nomos remains committed to accessibility, ensuring that these limited-edition pieces are priced lower than the standard model. Each watch houses the hand-wound caliber DUW 4101, showcasing NOMOS’s precision engineering and patented date mechanism.

The introduction of the Millésime collection takes center stage at Watches & Wonders with 11 new references.

At the 2023 GPHG Awards Ceremony, it was the Millésime Automatic Small Seconds model that clinched the Challenge Prize. Now, the lineup introduces two dial colors, Denim Blue and British Racing Green, alongside a moon phase model that reimagines this classic feature with modern flair.

The Moon Phase and Central Seconds models in particular are offered in a new 35mm size, with the Denim Blue colorway discreetly set with lab-grown diamonds on the lugs.

Noteworthy additions also include the neo-vintage Millésime Automatic Chronographs, paying homage to classic elegance with a sporty touch in midnight blue and black dials.

Next, the brand introduced the Wild ONE of 1, one that offers customers an extraordinary level of personalisation with access to 3.5 million unique configurations of their ultimate sports watch. At Watches & Wonders, the demonstration included a configuration station where guests could exercise complete control over every aspect of their timepiece — from the choice of 18K red or white gold for the top plate to the selection of chronometer-certified automatic movements (either from Norqain’s exclusive Kenissi Manufacture movement or two skeletonised Sellita automatic movements) — through 11 meticulous steps.

The brand has also recently introduced multiple Grand Slam Champion Stan Wawrinka as their new partner and ambassador. Along with are two new releases to the Wild ONE Skeleton collection, namely the Wild ONE Skeleton Coral and Wild ONE Skeleton Gecko watches.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the partnership, Stan shared his excitement about wearing the Norqain Wild ONE Turquoise Skeleton during the US Open in 2023. “I’ve always liked wearing a watch when I play and I had high hopes of the watch given its technical specifications,” he shared in a statement.

He will now represent the brand at major tennis events, starting with the French Open in May where he’ll showcase the Wild ONE Skeleton Coral, inspired by the red clay of Roland Garros, followed by the Wild ONE Skeleton Gecko at Wimbledon in July, reflecting the grass courts.

Eberhard & Co. unveils two chronographs: Chronographe 1887 Édition Limitée and Chronographe 1887 Automatique. These additions to the 1887 collection bear designs that are an homage to Eberhard & Co.’s heritage.

The Chronographe 1887 Édition Limitée is produced in just 250 pieces each, and runs on the manual-winding Calibre EB 280, which is essentially a Sellita AMT5100 base with column wheel and fly-back complication. On the caseback, the upper bridge of the chronograph gear-train is designed in a unique Shield shape, representing the emblem of Eberhard & Co., and with Côtes de Genève finish.

The Automatique runs on the self-winding Calibre EB 380 and features an Arabic numeral chapter ring instead.

Eberhard & Co. also revisits its iconic Extra-fort collection, tracing its legacy back to 1940 with a refreshed vitré version. This latest iteration retains the timeless appeal of the classic Extra-fort chronograph, boasting a 39mm steel case and elegant Dauphine-type hands.

Bremont has taken the opportunity to introduce the new Terra Nova collection along with their debut. It’s the first full-fledged collection under new CEO Davide Cerrato, who’s also in hopes of presenting a compelling vision of the new Bremont.

The collection is essentially a contemporary take on a field watch, inspired by military timepieces of the early 20th century. The design language of the Terra Nova includes a cushion case, large Arabic numerals, a railroad minute track and faceted pencil hands.
