Piaget
Georges-Édouard Piaget first set up shop in 1874 and made high-quality movements for the Swiss watch industry. In 1943, the brand name was registered, and the company began making their own watches in La Côte-aux-Fées. By 1945, they were established as one of the leading brands for thin movements and debuted the legendary caliber 9P in 1957. In 1960, they unveiled the caliber 12P and began offering dials set with ornamental stones in 1963, for which they became very well known. The Piaget Polo was launched in 1979 and the Altiplano in 1998. In 2010, the brand set new records for the world’s thinnest automatic movement and the thinnest wristwatch.
