Parmigiani Fleurier
Parmigiani Fleurier was founded in 1996, after the Sandoz Family Foundation recognized the talent in Michel Parmigiani as a watchmaker and gave him the right push and resources to set up his own brand. Today, Parmigiani Fleurier stands out not just thanks to strong designs like the Kalpa, but also for the degree of skill and vertical integration available, which is uncommon for a brand this size.
The brand seems set on a shake-up. Not only does Parmigiani Fleurier have a sporty new line in the shape of the Tonda PF, they have new leadership in the form of CEO Guido Terreni. The former head of Bvlgari’s watchmaking division has bold plans for the Fleurier-based manufacture, and he is determined to leverage the brand’s formidable capacity.
