H. Moser & Cie and Massena LAB Present the Endeavour Chronograph Compax

H. Moser & Cie has been on a roll with its collaborations this year. They’ve released a limited edition Streamliner in partnership with French Formula One racing team, Alpine, whose principal driver, Pierre Gasly, became Moser’s first ever brand ambassador. At Geneva Watch Days in August, the quirky pair-up between Moser and Studio Underd0g resulted in a pair of watches in likeness, in the vibrant colors of purple and yellow à la passion fruit.

Now they’re on another collaborative project, this time with Massena Lab, who of course, would know a thing or two about joining forces. Some names Massena has worked with this year were Raúl Pagès and Phillips in recreating the 1952 Observatory Dial inspired by the Patek Philippe 2458 of JB Champion’s, and debut brand Albishorn, who together launched the Maxigraph at Geneva Watch Days.

The new limited edition Endeavour Chronograph Compax takes design cues from the brand’s historic chronographs of the 1940s. Its “Compax” layout is reminiscent of mid-20th-century watchmaking, featuring functional symmetry with two sub-dials and a detailed tachymetric scale. The watch fronts a blue fumé dial, a signature of H. Moser & Cie, with all elements — from the scale to chronograph graduations — all coated with luminescence.

Super-LumiNova accents are applied on the tachymeter, sub-dials, and hands

The aesthetic, crafted in partnership with Massena Lab, balances the minimalist tendencies of modern Moser designs with the rich, detailed charm of vintage chronographs. William Massena of Massena LAB, explains, “The tension between maximalist vintage aesthetics and modern minimalism was a challenge, but the resulting Endeavour Chronograph Compax merges the two philosophies beautifully.”

Edouard Meylan, CEO of H. Moser & Cie, calls the Endeavour Chronograph Compax “a timeless declaration, a bridge between the past and present.” He adds, “It does not settle for simply telling a story; it takes you on a journey, immersing its wearer in a world where time meets discovery and innovation.”

The Endeavour Chronograph Compax is paired with a brown kudu leather strap with white stitching

Within the 41mm stainless steel timepiece is H. Moser & Cie’s automatic HMC 220 movement, coupled with a Dubois Débraz chronograph module. The watch is limited to 100 pieces and priced at US$27,600 each.
