Chopard Commemorates Sincere Fine Watches’ 70 Anniversary with the L.U.C Quattro Spirit 25 Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition
The Chopard L.U.C collection has evolved significantly since its inception in 1996. Named after Chopard’s founder, Louis-Ulysse Chopard, the collection emphasizes craftsmanship, precision, and elegance. Over the years, it has introduced numerous innovations, such as the introduction of the in-house movement and the first luxury watch with a certified Fairmined gold case, showcasing Chopard’s dedication to sustainability. Today, the L.U.C collection is celebrated as one of the best dress watch collections, distinguished by its refined aesthetics, exceptional finishing, and technical prowess. Models such as the L.U.C Quattro Spirit 25 exemplify both understated luxury and timeless design, making it an ideal choice for any occasion.
Such is the choice then to add it to Sincere Fine Watches’ 70th anniversary lineup, in the form of the L.U.C Quattro Spirit 25 Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition. Limited to only ten pieces, this exclusive creation embodies Chopard’s renowned craftsmanship while paying tribute to the legacy of Sincere Fine Watches. Set with a striking burgundy red Grand Feu enamel dial, the color marks the debut of this bold hue in the L.U.C Quattro Spirit 25 collection. The dial, which has been crafted in-house by Chopard’s artisans, involves multiple layers of enamel, each fired individually at temperatures reaching 800°C to ensure a flawless finish. The process is meticulous and risky, with each layer adding depth and nuance to the dial’s surface, while the final polish reveals a luminous shine that plays beautifully under light.
This rich burgundy dial also symbolizes Sincere Fine Watches’ dedication to advancing horological appreciation. Set within a 40mm case crafted from ethical 18K white gold, the dial’s minimalistic design embodies the L.U.C collection’s pared-down aesthetic. You may recall the Chopard Happy Sport The First Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition released earlier this year, featuring a burgundy dial of its own. These complementing colors would make for a great pair of his-and-her watches this upcoming festive season.
The L.U.C 98.06-L Jumping-Hour Movement
Chopard’s L.U.C 98.06-L jumping-hour movement is an advanced manual-wind caliber that debuted in 2021 to celebrate Chopard Manufacture’s 25th anniversary. This jumping-hour mechanism is powered by Chopard’s Quattro technology, which runs on a unique configuration that stacks and couples four barrels in series, offering a remarkable eight-day power reserve. This allows the timepiece to maintain extended autonomy despite the amount of energy required to power the instant rotation of the hour disc.
The L.U.C 98.06-L movement is regulated by a Phillips terminal curve and swan’s neck regulator, ensuring timekeeping accuracy. The mechanism’s bridges are adorned with the Côtes de Genève motif and finely beveled. Thanks to its 4.85-millimeter thickness, the movement maintains a compact profile within the timepiece, allowing for a balanced, wearable design.
The caseback features the 70th-anniversary logo engraved onto the sapphire crystal, complemented with an engraving of “One of 10” along the periphery. With its Poinçon de Genève hallmark, the L.U.C Quattro Spirit 25 guarantees the highest standards of artistry and mechanical mastery.
The Chopard L.U.C Quattro Spirit 25 Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition is available at Sincere Fine Watches boutiques and priced at SGD76,800.
