At Watches & Wonders 2024, Bell & Ross refreshes its integrated-bracelet sports watch collection, with a new theme revolving around black ceramic. If you appreciate the concept of a ceramic sports watch, including the bracelet, you won’t want to overlook this guide to the latest releases. These releases are among the best values in the all-ceramic sports watch market right now.

BR 05 Black Ceramic

The entry-level model of Bell & Ross’ integrated-bracelet sports watch, the BR 05 time-only models, has received a makeover that instantly elevates its status. The new BR 05 now boasts a black ceramic case and bracelet, with a combination of polished and brushed finishes throughout the watch. This feature is uncommon for sports watches, and when available, they tend to be at least twice as expensive as the BR 05.

If the end-to-end ceramic construction isn’t impressive enough, the brand has two more iterations up its sleeve: an open-worked version with either a brushed and polished finish on the case and bracelet, or an all-matte finish (the Black Lum model)

BR-X5 Black Titanium

For those who care about movement integrity above anything else, there’s also the new BR-X5 Black Titanium, which uses a Kenissi movement with a three-day running time and a power reserve indicator.

Originally introduced two years ago in steel and carbon, the BR-X5 now features an attractive titanium case and bracelet that are entirely sandblasted to give the watch a low-profile and military-esque look. It’s worth noting that the BR-X5 boasts a far more complex case construction than the BR 05 above, as it is a modular case with multiple components fixed together, allowing a broad variety of details to be precisely presented, such as the skeletonization on the lugs, crown guards, and even the crown itself.

Although the BR-X5 isn’t as cool as the BR 05 above in terms of material, it certainly stacks up in terms of appearance. The coherence in colors and texture from the matte dial to the case and bracelet is rather well done and leaves the watch looking rather upscale.

BR 05 Chrono Grey Steel and Gold

Bell & Ross’s final launch at the fair is the luxurious BR 05 Chrono, fashioned in two-tone steel and 18k rose gold. This sets it apart as one of the few luxury sports watches on the market having this combination of steel and rose gold. Notably, the dial features a rich ruthenium tone and a sun-ray finish, giving it a striking and contemporary appearance that infuses the overall luxurious watch with a more casual feel.

Inside the watch is the BR-CAL.326, which is a Selitta movement based on the tried and true ETA 7750, but upgraded with a longer power reserve of 60 hours.
