F.P. Journe
François-Paul Journe was born in Marseille in 1957 and founded his eponymous brand in 1999, having graduated from the Paris school of watchmaking in 1976. The brand produces around 800 watches per year and has been awarded the Aiguille d’Or grand prize from the Fondation du Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève a record three times: in 2004 for the Tourbillon Souverain à seconde morte, in 2006 for the Sonnerie Souveraine, and in 2008 for the Centigraphe Souverain.
