Oris is on an Aquis kick in 2024. Everyone’s favourite Holstein-based brand has already given us some strong new takes on the popular diver, with a thoughtful evolution of the line in various sizes.

The latest pair is perfectly pitched for long summer nights, adding some tropical fun to the technical chops of the 41.5mm Aquis. The two new models stand out not just because of the bright green and red dials but for the vibrant white ceramic bezels. Together that makes for a watermelon-themed pair that’s just begging for a Harry Styles collab.

First, the green. Zesty as a lime (but not as bright as Kermit), this steel watch stands out with a vivid sunray dial that feels even lighter thanks to the white ceramic bezel insert with colour-matched green makers. The red is an equally fresh option, sitting somewhere between strawberry and cherry, depending on how the light hits it. Red dials are often rich and borderline brooding, but here, Oris has played the brighter notes, creating a watch that feels seasonal.

Dials aside, this new pair hews to the latest Aquis design, with a slimline profile and a more ergonomic case, rated to 300M and powered by the no-fuss performer that is the Oris 733. These two watches are offered exclusively on the steel bracelet, but it would be great to see a red and green (or even white) rubber straps offered on these fun watches, to complete the summer look.
